Gary’s personal journey with body image struggles led him to discover a holistic approach to wellness, emphasizing the importance of sleep, stress management, and overall balance. His coaching philosophy focuses on progress over perfection, and he is passionate about guiding others toward sustainable, lasting change.

Our Story

breaking barriers: how it all started

Do you remember when high school felt like the busiest time of your life?

Oh, the struggles of six whole hours of class and maybe a couple of hours of sports. It felt like we were swamped! Fast forward to now, and we’re all wondering how we ever thought we were busy back then. If only we knew how much free time we really had!

Then came college. Fewer classes, but a lot more work (and let’s be real, probably more naps too). You had to figure out how to prioritize, juggle classes, social life, and a very questionable diet of ramen and coffee. And just when you thought you were getting the hang of it… bam! Welcome to real life, where “I want money” turns into “I need money,” and suddenly, you’ve got bills to pay, maybe even a job or two to keep things moving along.

A few years later, you meet someone special, and life becomes this beautiful balancing act of managing two lives instead of one. Fast forward a little more, and whether it’s kids or pets (or both), responsibilities seem to multiply overnight. Now you’re looking back at high school wondering, “How did I ever think I was busy?!”

Here’s the truth: each phase of life throws new challenges at us, and we feel overwhelmed because it’s all new. But every time, we find a way to get through it.

As we grow older and others rely on us, it gets tougher to carve out time for ourselves. Often, we put our needs on the back burner because there’s always someone else who needs us more. And, well, life is hard.

But here’s the thing…just like in high school, when you want something bad enough, you learn how to push through and build habits that help you overcome the barriers in your way. It all starts with knowing what you want and setting up action steps to make it happen.
